In the Egyptian peninsula of Sanai, the fact that a Japanese man drowned on the 31st of August whilst diving in the Red Sea was made known on the 6th of this month.
The local authorities believe that the death was an accident.
According to the Japanese embassy in Egypt, the man was diving with an instructor and a group of other divers at a depth of 25 metres when the man suddenly surfaced and went missing.
He was later found near a rocky area at a depth of approximately 10 metres and was quickly rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead.
The authorities believe that the quick ascend caused the man to lose conciousness, resulting in his drowning.
