Synchronised terrorist bombings of Mumbai trains and stations. (India)

On the 11th past 18:00 local time (21:00 Japan time), in the major city of Mumbai in the western part of India, a total of 5 locations consisting of railways stations as well as running trains were hit by 7 planned, simultaneous terrorist bombing attacks.
A total of 135 passengers were killed with approximately 250 more people injured.
According to the Japanese consulate-general in Mumbai, there are no reports of any Japanese citizens being affected by the explosions as of yet.
Although no particular terrorist groups have claimed responsibility for the incident, Mumbai police officials have concluded this to be a terrorist act.
The same day, Srinagar in the northern state of Jammu Kashmir was struck by 5 terrorist grenade attacks, leaving at least 7 dead.
Although there are no clear ties to the Mumbai attacks, it appears that a local separatist group linked to Al Qaeda responsible for numerous terror attacks over the past few years may be responsible.
Investigators believe these co-ordinated attacks to be the work of high profile terrorists.
Following the attacks, the Indian government held an emergency cabinet meeting between Mumbai, the Indian capital of New Delhi as well as the commercial centre of Banagalore and declared a state of high alert.
According to reports, the Mumbai bombings caused the roof of at least one train car to blown off, resulting is extensive damage.
